The new version of CM is here for all the CyanogenMod users, I said that because the CyanogenMod developers have made available for download the 4th Release Candidate build of CM 10.1. This latest update comes to fix some bugs related on the previous old versions and brings several tweaks developed for increasing the Android experience for your devices.
The new CyanogenMod 10.1 RC4 is available and compatible with more than 40 Android devices. All the devices are listed in the CyanogenMod webpage and from there you can download the suitable CM ROM released for your specified device, and after that you can flash the same in your device with a new features and capabilities release of CM.
The previous CyanogenMod firmware version was CM 10.1 ROM and the users who are already familiar with CM know what they expect from this new firmware.    The CyanogenMod 10.1 RC4 version comes only a short period of time after the CyanogenMod 10.1 RC3 release. On the RC3 version the users who use it, have reported a math calculation complex bug, and this issues made the Android device to don’t show the correct number on the phone application. Also, the CM team has been highly reactive at this problem, and they have worked and have managed to fix the issues and release new one version named CM 10.1 RC4 ROM.
Also, this new RC4 build ROM shouldn’t  have the same issues  like CM 10.1 RC3 such as the issues experienced freezes, dropped frames and stutters. If you are interested about this latest CM 10.1 RC4, you can download the suitable zip file that works with your device form the Get. CM webpage from here.
At the beginning of this post, I specified that the CyanogenMod 10.1 RC4 is available for more than 40 devices such as Samsung Galaxy S3 (US Version), Samsung Galaxy S III (AT&T), Samsung Galaxy S III (Cricket), Samsung Galaxy S III (Sprint), Galaxy S2 I9100G, for Sony Xperia Z, Xperia V, Nexus 4, Google Nexus 7 (Wi-Fi), Google Nexus S 4G,  Motorola Droid 4 etc, for a full list, please visit the link shared above.
Also, a Release Candidate build is more stable and works better than the Nightlies snapshots, and we have to think about that this latest update can be the final version before the CyanogenMod 10.1 final version will be released for the Android devices. The CyanongenMod 10.1 Final ROM need to be ready until the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update will be available for all Android devices. For be up to date you should to keep an eye on the officially CyanogenMod’s G+ webpage to receive the latest information about the feature firmware update.
When you want to install the CM ROM on your device, you need to have a unlocked and rooted smartphone which is running a custom recovery image such as TWRP or CWM recovery, which are required for flashing the custom ROM firmware, after you’ve installed the new custom ROM firmware in your device remember that you’ll need to flash the Gapps for devices which are running the Android 4.2.2 custom ROM firmware.
